Greetings, I’m really posting this on Saturday morning but it’s because I just got home. I bit the bullet and went to the singles thing tonight. I was nervous for apparently no reason. I met some nice people and had a good time at Incredible Pizza. So after the pizza and games I joined the “kids” at the club and hung out for an hour or 2 before coming home in the rain. Snow should be causing grief by the time I wake up for most of the western part of the viewing area. I am still planning on going to The Black Eyed Peas with Cassie tomorrow evening (saturday) even if we have some snow. I will most likely be working Sunday morning at the station so most likely I’ll leave the concert and grab a cot at the station to save the double commute for just 6 hours in snow. I am wondering if they will throw us up in a hotel on sat night.. Anyway I’m friggin’ tired and need to sleep because I went to the movies with Leah and saw Shutter Island. GREAT FLICK!. Zzzzz. Ok falling asleep while blogging is not good on the forehead. G’night

Today I will probably take a step I hate doing. My church Destiny Church is having what they call FUSE get together and its their 30-49 singles group. They are having a thing at a place called Incredible Pizza around 6:30 and I want to get involved in the group but hate starting in the middle and not having a wingman/woman. I HATE going into something without knowing anyone or anything about the group because I really dislike not having full control over the situation. Can you tell I’m shy? hahah. I’ll update my normal stuff later.

Today was a good day overall starting by a near flawless live shot from Uganda and a pretty basic morning show. We had our normal post-show meeting but for the 2nd day in a row it’s gone insanely long. Went to lunch with Evin, Mindy, Jeromee and Nick at Chili’s on 51st. I think we all had a good time and such. Once I dropped Mindy off I got to moms to try to extract her old washing machine and make sure the new one thats being delivered on Saturday will fit. Since I was already all sweaty I figured I’d go work off the fries from lunch. Yesterday I entered a re-tweet contest that the BOK Center had going and won 2 tickets to see the Black Eyed Peas. After the gym I cruised by the BOK and got my free tickets. Now I’m home and getting ready for bed so I can crank out one more day of work.

Today is Wednesday, March 17, the 76th day of 2010. There are 289 days left in the year.
Whats up? After last nights cluster with the Uganda feed and limited sleep I started my Wednesday by forgetting to bring food with me to work. I noticed about 7 that I forgotten to eat and had to hit the vending machine for some junk food to hold me over. We had our normal post-show meeting and it ran a bit longer than I would have liked but O’ well. Hit the gym for a few then went to pick my mother up to go shopping for a new washing machine at Home Depot because they have free delivery and take the broken one away. Got home and started the work that I never get to do at work because of my hours and spent 45min on the phone with Sprint trying to figure out why 1 of my new 3/4G data cards wasn’t setting up correctly. Thankfully I got an english speaking representative that tracked down the problem. It seems AT&T wasn’t happy about me porting a line across and placed a hold on the number. UGH! After about a total of an hour I was able to use the new data card and test it. I know pretty boring day eh? I really want to goto church tonight but I need sleep because I have a sneaking suspicion tomorrow is going to be a bitch. l8r

Today is Tuesday, March 16, the 75th day of 2010. There are 290 days left in the year.
This morning was fairly laid back and un-eventful if you ignore the armed robbery that started my morning. Today I volunteered to come back for the 10PM to make sure the Uganda live shots go off without a hitch because I have them hitting in the morning with my show. I say its better to get the cob webs worked out on day one then me struggling in a show tomorrow to work them out. I stopped and picked up some chicken nuggets for breakfast and apparently dripped BBQ sauce on my BRAND NEW pair of slacks so after a brief lunch and run to the mall I got home and soaked them for a few and I think the spot is gone *crossing fingers*. Im going to attempt to take a nap this afternoon so I am rested enough to go w/o much sleep overnight before my shows.

So work was so-so today a typical Monday of cleaning up stuff from the weekend and recovering all my paperwork from my vacation. I busted my ass at the gym today by doing over 4 miles on treadmill and 4 miles on bike. I need to get a better routine built up but I’m happy with what I have now. Burning more calories than I eat is my main goal with stronger legs and cardio as a nice side-effect. I got home about 11 and worked on some server and website tool that will help me monitor and admin my sites easier and cut down the “real work”. I need to track down a few good podcasts to listen to while working out. I tried the whole books on tape (iPod) but its a pain to stop in the middle of a chapter and then have to shuttle thru it to find your spot each time. Music bores me while staring at downtown from the 16th floor. There is a view but if you stand in one spot for an hour you can tell what cars are there everyday and when FedEx delivers to City Hall. I’ve been researching braces more since it seems I’ll be getting them soon and finding funny tid-bits like

Harris is one of three people in the Seattle-area busted in connection with a fraud investigation. Sheriff’s spokesman Dave Reagan says guards searched the 6-foot-tall and 400-pound Harris at the Spokane County Jail. He adds the guards found nearly $26,000 in her bra, along with bank receipts. Harris and two others were arrested when a bank worker said they tried to get cash with a stolen credit card.”

I decided to skip some basketball and go visit the Tulsa Zoo and take some pictures it was swamped with children due to “Its Spring break party at Tulsa Zoo” but I was amazingly able to get a few pictures with no interruptions. Got home ready to go photoshop crazy but didn’t see the need to touch up any of the pics so I posted them 100% raw. Going to turn in early tonight and get a extra hour of sleep back.

Happy time change day! Today I got up at the right time (thank you T-mobile and iPhone). Well today had several interesting things go on. While trying to get ready for church I had the fashion issue because I didn’t want to slum it at church like I normally do so I tried white button down and black slacks but I would have stood out like a sore thumb at church considering everyone dresses down so I ended up with a pair of nice jeans and white button down shirt. So at church Pastor Mike was on a cruse so Mark did the message today and Mark is just as good and a great fill-in. Last Sunday I caught a very pretty girl looking my way and wasn’t sure if the young lady was looking at me or not so I just figured it was someone behind me. She is very attractive. Anyway I said hi to her last week and smiled but didn’t go past that because well duh! I’m shy when it comes to the female species. So this week I went with Cassie (good friend and church partner) and because she froze to death last week we had to sit a few rows back away from the air conditioner vent. I got to service a few minutes early and the attractive girl  was sitting a few rows up. I wanted to say hi but a smile and a nod of sorts had to do. Anyway long boring rant short I think indeed it was directed to me and one of these days I’ll build up the courage to say “howdy” or maybe just a “hello” again. I am glad however that its clear Cassie is just a friend so I don’t have to worry about anyone thinking that were a couple. Anyway went shopping after church and scored some new clothing that fits and was pretty cheap. I’ve been back into the dressing up mode at work and not wearing jeans and a t-shirt everyday like I’m known to do.  Today has basketball in store for a start.

Wheee it’s Saturday and I am regretting not going out last night but again I have all my money still. Today I have nothing really on my plate so I ran out to get some rice and a RT44 slushie from sonic to fill me up. I really need to go buy some new slacks that fit me since wearing 38X32 swallows me since my jeans are 34X32 now. I must look nice for tomorrow at church because I want to be dressed to impress someone. I’m thinking some khaki and a white shirt or maybe just the basic black slacks and white shirt with no tie. I sometimes wish I had a gay fashion advisor to assist me. I have nothing planned for tonight but I think the kids are going out again tonight so maybe I’ll go out but I place that on a 20% chance. I’ve been watching basketball all day and I couldn’t tell you who played or who won but I saw the orange ball bounce of the rim more than I wanted to. My ignore list on twitter is growing with all the #SXSW tweets. I’ve created a list of people I can care less of 90% of their spew from their fingers. I’m already a twitter snob because I don’t re-follow all of those that follow me. I have several groups “ignore, people I’ve met IRL, People I follow, Media peeps, All friends” I love tweet deck so I can watch what I want. Now that I’ve given away my follow secret I’ll add this note. If I’ve met you IRL you are normally followed and in my good lists. Facebook is a different story =).. It’s 4 pm and Minnesota is slaughtering Purdue so I think I’m going to watch some basketball.
